The Embossing and Stamping process...


If requested, but not necessary, one of our friendly and helpful design/estimators can come to your home and give you a written estimate.	We'll work with you on the design you want and paint it out with you.	You have over 16 colors to choose from. We use Davis Colors. See our color chart for available colors.

We arrive as scheduled.	We prepare your ground.	We prepare the concrete mix.

We precisely add your chosen color to the mix.	Then we extrude the curb.	Next is hand finishing with molded trowel. This encapsulates the extrusion.

Then the embossing roller with your pattern is coated with a release agent.	And the curbing is carefully embossed with your pattern.	Meanwhile another craftsman is hand finishing your control joints.

You can watch if you want to.	Your stamp pattern is dipped in a dark color which is used as the release agent.	Then the stamping is carefully done over the embossed curb.
	And finally we spray your curb with a sealer / xylene mix that seals your curb and moves some of the release agent (darker color) into the embossed areas on the face of the curb.
