DECORATIVE BOULDERS AND RIP RAP

Decorative Boulders come in all shapes, sizes and colors. The most common type of boulder in Arizona is called Surface Select. Cutting Edge Curbing has boulders available for pick up or delivery. Boulders weigh about 100 lbs per cubic foot. For example, a 1′ x1′ x1′ boulder weighs about 100 lbs. You could expect a 3′ x3′ x3′ boulder to weigh approximately 2700 lbs. If you would like to have boulders delivered you can stop by and pick out your specific boulders prior to ordering.

Rip Rap refers to a larger sized rock that is generally used for erosion control or for decorative river rock runs in landscaping. Most decorative rock found in Arizona has a Rip Rap size as well. Sizes typically range from 3″ to 8″ but are also available in larger sizes.
